Yasmin Ayyad graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland with a Masters degree in Film. She also has a Bachelor degree in Journalism/Sociology from Birzeit University. She worked as an assistant at the social communication office of UN World Food Program. Then she worked at StationJ in Sheikh Jarrah. She is highly interested in filmmaking and photography. Ayyad believes in the importance of journalism in the Palestinian community to convey the message to the world.
