Hello, I am Sarah and my passion is people. At Meta, I work with community leaders from the Middle East and North Africa to help them grow and sustain their digital communities across our platforms. I am curious about how people thrive in different contexts, which is why I studied political sciences and internal law at university. I moved to London from Egypt to study Post-conflict development at the School of Oriental and African Studies. I joined a small NGO to work on religious and ethnic minorities in the Middle East for 3 years before I moved temporarily to the consultancy world and had a baby. I joined Facebook in 2019 because I believe in the power of communities online and how they can affect the real world we live in.
