Reem Al-Masry is a journalist and researcher specializing in Internet governance, digital user rights, and the political economy of the Communications and Information Technology sector. She is currently working on developing the technical strategy for independent media organizations in the Arab region and leading a program that encourages the involvement of journalists in the Arab region with Internet governance issues within the Mozilla Foundation for Technology and Culture Fellowship in 2020. During her work with 7iber, Reem contributed to the production of more than one research on legislation related to digital privacy, data protection and digital media regulation.
